Purpose
The Bristol Zoning Commission has the following responsibilities, as set forth in Chapter 124 of the Connecticut General Statutes:
- To adopt, amend, and administer the city’s Zoning Regulations
- To hear, consider, and decide upon petitions for changes to the Zoning Regulations or Zoning Map
- To hear, consider, and decide upon applications for special permits in accordance with the Zoning Regulations
- To review site plans for the purpose of determining conformity with the Zoning Regulations
- To provide for the manner in which the Zoning Regulations are enforced and to take appropriate actions to enforce them
