316 Park Street Cleanup

Description& Funding

316 Park Street is located north of Park Street and west of Dutton Avenue and consists of a single 0.18 acre parcel known as Assessor’s Map 12 Lot 172-41. The site is owned by the city. The property contains a 1,560-square-foot, one-story, vacant commercial building constructed in 1960. Historically, the site has been used as a radiator / auto service shop, a convenience store / gasoline station, and a bait and tackle shop.

The City of Bristol has received a grant from the Valley Council of Governments (VCOG), which is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for remediation of the former Sunshine Mart property located at 316 Park Street. The intended reuse of the property is incorporation of the parcel into Rockwell Park.

Community Relations PlanBrownfield Cleanup Alternatives

Additionally, an Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) has been completed for the former Sunshine Mart property.
