Additional Rubbish Barrel Applications 2021

It's time to renew your Additional Rubbish Barrel for the New Year! The Public Works Department will begin to accept Additional Rubbish Barrel “New” and “Renewal” Applications on December 1, 2020. The fee is $155.00 for the service year (January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021).

To renew your service, or sign up for new service, please fill out our online Additional Rubbish Barrel Application. Please select "Renew" if you already have an extra rubbish barrel and need to pay for the current year sticker. Please select "New" service if you do not currently have an extra rubbish barrel and wish to purchase one. You must fill out the digital application. If you need assistance filling out the application, or would like us to fill out the application for you over the phone, please call our office. Your service will be activated once both the application and your payment are received. 

You may pay online (please click "paying online" in the application form - this will direct you to the bank site. Once your payment is made, please go back into the form and submit it). Convenience fees for ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY have been temporarily waived. You can also pay by mail - envelopes must be addressed to: Public Works 111 North Main Street Bristol, CT 06010 and checks must be written to The City of Bristol. Or you can pay in person (111 North Main Street, Ground Floor, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

If you are renewing online or by mail, your 2021 sticker will be mailed to you. The sticker must be attached to the barrel on January 1, 2021 to avoid interruption in service. If you are applying for "New" service, the barrel will be delivered with the 2021 sticker on it.

If you have an Additional Rubbish Barrel you no longer need, please call our office to have it retrieved.
