The City of Bristol owns properties neither directly involved in the administration of its function nor retained for other purposes (redirection of roads, extension of parks, etc.), typically relative to a foreclosure proceeding. Properties are in residential zones; the properties are mixed between land with buildings and land only. The City of Bristol is seeking proposals from qualified realty firms to assist in the marketing and subsequent sale of surplus city owned properties.
Proposal submissions will be accepted by the Purchasing Department until September 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm; submissions received after this date and time will not be considered. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in any submission, to reject any and/or all submissions, and to accept the proposal(s) that in its judgment is in its best interest.
Interested firms are required to submit one original copy via digital media of the proposal to Roger D. Rousseau, Purchasing Agent, no later than the date and time noted above. Submissions may be made via email, shared file service, or USB drive; the City does not assume responsibility for failure of submissions to be received by the City by the date and time noted above.
The awarded firm will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
