Renters Relief
The application processing for general residents State of Connecticut Renters Relief for Elderly and Totally Disabled will begin at the Assessor's office Monday May 1st  through Friday September 29, 2017. Applications will be processed utilizing the following schedule:

Monday - Thursday during the hours of 9 am - 4 pm
and from 9 am - 1 pm on Friday

Application processing for the month of April beginning Tuesday April 4, 2017
will be for the housing complexes listed below. 

Elderly applicants must have been at least 65 years of age before December 31, 2016, rent or share rent and have lived in Connecticut for one year. An applicant's gross income, including Social Security Benefit must not exceed $35,200 if single or $42,900 if married.

Applicants must submit documentation of ALL income and ALL receipts for rent and utilities paid January through December 2016. All applicants disabled and under the age of 65 must have proof of disability, a BPQY or an eBEV or an Awards Verification Letter.

Applications will be taken on a first come first serve basis. Please keep the following schedule in mind when filing your rental rebate. Applications will be taken in the Assessor's office for the Senior Housing Complexes on the following dates:
