Program Description
The City of Bristol is in the first year of a new Five-Year Consolidated Plan for 2015-2020. The Consolidated Plan is the overarching framework for administering the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.  Planning for the upcoming year, July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 begins on December 22, 2016.

Fair Housing
The City is responsible to affirmatively further fair housing choice. This is accomplished by updating the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice and working to correct the impediments that are identified. The Fair Housing Officer for the City of Bristol is Eileen McNulty, Director of Youth and Community Services; she can be reached by email or at (860) 314-4690.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development allocated $576,672 to the City of Bristol for 2016-2017.  Funding for 2017-2018 is unknown at this time.
