[ARCHIVED] EMERGENCY CONSTRUCTION NOTICE - KENNEY STREET

EMERGENCY CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

On Tuesday February 27, 2024, between the hours of 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, the water on Kenney Street will be shut off to repair a leaking valve and replace a Fire Hydrant. The surrounding may also be affected.

Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during this time and for short periods afterwards. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. You should run an outside faucet or the cold water in your bathtub until the water runs clear.

A water filling station is located at the Water Filtration Plant and is available to any customers who are affected by an extended service interruption 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. There is no charge to customers affected by the water service interruption. Customers will need to bring their own containers and Filtration Plant Operators will assist in filling them. The Water Filtration Plant is located at 1080 Terryville Avenue and the number to the plant is (860) 583-6504. It would be appreciated if customers could call the plant in advance of arrival.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
