[ARCHIVED] Hydrant Flushing Notice starting March 18, 2024

Hydrant Flushing (2)

On Monday, March 18, 2024, the Bristol Water and Sewer Department will continue their 2024 hydrant flushing season.  The following areas may be affected:

Ronzo Road, Birch Street, Bishop Street, Lois Street, Bayberry Drive, Woodmere Road, Surrey Drive, Bianca Road, Alexander Street, Emmett Street, Redstone Hill, and some of the surrounding areas.  We will continue flushing this area until the next area is posted.

We will flush hydrants on these streets and the adjacent areas starting at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m., to allow customers to run their cold water until it runs clear. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing and for short periods afterwards. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. You should run an outside faucet or the cold water in your bathtub until the water runs clear.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
