All City departments have been relocated to temporary office spaces for the duration of the City Hall renovation project. City departments will occupy "swing spaces" during the entire renovation period. City Hall will close at the end of April when renovations are expected to begin and will last between 15 and 18 months with an anticipated completion by October 2023 when all departments will move back in to the newly-renovated City Hall.
The Public Works Department is now located at the former Bristol Courthouse during City Hall renovations. The former Courthouse is located next to City Hall, above the Police Department (on the second floor).
Regular hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Summer hours (Memorial Day through Labor Day):
Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The physical mailing address will remain as 111 North Main Street, Bristol, CT 06010 for all City departments for the duration of the renovation project and individual department phone numbers will also remain the same. Please address the envelope to the department to ensure proper delivery.
