Hydrant Flushing Notice - sign up for alerts to be notified by email or text
The Bristol Water and Sewer Department will continue flushing hydrants starting Monday, April 3, 2023, in the following areas:
Garden Terrace, Circle Street, Camp Street, Rowe Place, Vernon Street, Fair Street, Genovese Drive, Robertson Street, Georgetown Road, Nicholas Court, Nicholas Drive, Stafford Avenue, Meadowbrook Drive, Sunset Drive, Root Avenue, Douglass Road, Manross Road, Mix Street, Woodhaven Road, Woodybrook Road, Revere Drive, Vincent Road, Dorothy Road, Farmington Avenue, John Avenue, Missal Avenue, Collier Avenue, Louisiana Avenue, Fanway Avenue, Morris Avenue, Columbus Avenue, Dallas Avenue and the surrounding areas.
We will flush hydrants on these streets and the adjacent areas through Thursday, April 6, 2023, starting at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing and for short periods afterwards. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. You should run an outside faucet or the cold water in your bathtub until the water runs clear.
