On Monday, May 8, 2023, the Bristol Water and Sewer Department will continue flushing hydrants in the following areas:
Shrub Rd, Oak Hill, Buckboard Ln, Richard Ct, Saw Mill Dr, Mandy Ln, Winding Brook Rd, Bently Rd, Arrowhead Dr, Sheffield Ln, Blue Meadow Rd, Delmar Dr, Maiden Ln, Glen Eagle Dr, Caesar Dr, Laird Rd , and some of the surrounding areas.
We will flush hydrants on these streets and the adjacent areas starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m., to allow customers to run their cold water until it runs clear. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing and for short periods afterwards. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. You should run an outside faucet or the cold water in your bathtub until the water runs clear.
