[ARCHIVED] Hydrant Flushing Notice starting May 30, 2023
On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the Bristol Water and Sewer Department will continue flushing hydrants in the following areas:
Redstone Hill Rd (Near Middle St), Vincent P. Kelly Rd., Middle St, Commerce Dr, Birch St (Near Redstone Hill Rd.), Broderick Rd. and some of the surrounding areas.
We will flush hydrants on these streets and the adjacent areas starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m., to allow customers to run their cold water until it runs clear. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing and for short periods afterwards. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. You should run an outside faucet or the cold water in your bathtub until the water runs clear.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
