Each year, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) reach out to Connecticut police departments and requests the names of officers whom have been proactive in enforcing laws against drunk driving. For 2017, Bristol Officers Jeffrey Laroche and Daniel Dwyer have been nominated by Bristol PD to receive the prestigious statewide award. During 2017, Laroche made 74 arrests and Dwyer made 23 DUI arrests. Through their hard work and dedication, there is no doubt that both officers have saved lives and prevented injuries in our community.
