On August 4, 2018, the Thibodeau family of Maywood Lane and Christopher Bologna donated $310 to the Bristol Police K9 Fund from proceeds of a can and bottle collection. The children, Autumn, Ryan, and Christopher came up with the idea of having their family collect cans & bottles to raise money. Erin, their mother, subsequently posted it on social media which drew a large response from others to donate cans to the children. On behalf of the entire Bristol Police Department, I thank you for your wonderful contribution and support of the Bristol Police Department. Erin, Autumn, Christopher and Ryan, you are a credit to the community of Bristol. Therefore, your efforts are recognized and you are presented with the Police Chief’s Award for Excellence.
