On October 6, 2018, Bristol Police Explorer Post 111 competed in the NEERLEA SWAT Competition. This competition involved over 100 cadets and explorers from all over New England. Our Explorers received the following awards:
* 1st Place in High Risk Felony Stop
* 1st Place in Sniper Challenge
* 2nd Place in Hostage Rescue
* 3rd place in High Risk Warrant
* 3rd Place in High Risk Drug Warrant Service
* 3rd Place in Rapid Deployment
Our Post placed third in overall as well. The Explorers represented our department very well and took this competition very seriously. The explorers spent many hours practicing with several scenarios. Congratulations to Post 111! A job well done.
