[ARCHIVED] Citizen Commendation Award

Wadowski Citizen Commendation Award

At the March 2019 Police Board meeting, Edward and Susan Wadowski were awarded the Citizen's Commendation award. Both have been involved in the Bristol Police Explorer Post for over twenty years. Through the years, they have maintained active roles in the organization. In addition, they serve as role models to the explorer scouts in the program. The police officers attached to the post describe the Wadowski’s as a “great asset” to the explorer program. They have donated countless hours of their own time and mentored hundreds of teenagers that have passed through the program. People like the Wadowski’s are role models and help make an impact on a young adult’s life. As positive adult role models, they set the example for hard work, honesty, respect, and help police explorers make healthy choices that lead to a successful life. As you know, many police explorers land careers in public safety and these attributes are essential. Congratulations to the Wadowskis.
