On April 12, 2019, Mayor Ellen Zoppo-Sassu and City Councilman Scott Rosado presented a proclamation to the Bristol Public Safety Telecommunicators. The proclamation was in honor of their diligence and professionalism for keeping Bristol and it's citizens safe. The week of April 14 - 20, 2019 is designated as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. They are the first and most critical contact that our citizens have with emergency services and are the single vital link for police officers and firefighters. They were joined by Chief Gould, Fire Deputy Chief Poggio, and Communication Division Commander Lieutenant Mark Morello. Great job to all our Telecommunicators!
