On June 17, 2019, Ryan Gotowala (c) joined the BPD as its newest officer. Ryan joins his brother Matt Gotowala (l) and his father Rodney Gotowala (r), both current BPD officers. Rodney is a long time patrol sergeant. Until recently, Ryan was with the Branford Police Department and made his way to the BPD. After Ryan completes a modified FTO program, he will begin patrol duties on his own. Family and friends joined Ryan at his swearing in ceremony. Best of luck with your law enforcement career.
