EVERSOURCE GAS TO INSTALL GAS LINES

The City of Bristol was recently notified by Eversource Gas that the utility is scheduled to start the installation of a gas line on March 3, 2021 in the neighborhood which includes Mills Street, Putnam Street and Sherman Street off of Route 6.

The hours of construction will be 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday and occasionally on Saturdays. Work is weather dependent and construction activities are subject to change.   This project is expected to be completed by July 31.

Residents interested in obtaining information regarding the project should contact Chris Tralli, of Eversource Energy at 860-302-6024 or Jesse Arsenault, construction superintendent of NPL, which is the private contractor hired by Eversource to do the project at 203-673-8508.

“While the City of Bristol is not performing the work, we think that it is important for the City to play a role in alerting neighborhoods to construction work,” said Councilman Peter Kelley who represents this neighborhood and is a member of the Public Works Commission.
